Pause / freeze — what should NOT move

When you pause for 2 weeks or a month in TutorPe:

• Overdue and upcoming fee noise is hidden for that student
• The next due date does not jump — so your ledger stays honest
• When the pause ends, they reappear on the overdue list if they still owe

That is different from “extend membership by 14 days,” which some gym ERPs do. Small Indian academies usually want stop nagging, don’t rewrite history.

Belt, grade, level — optional, not a new ERP

Karate belts and music grades are labels on the student — White, Yellow, Grade 3. They do not change how monthly fees work. Track rank next to the fee card; collect grading money as a one-time fee.

Pick your institute type (yoga, dance, music, martial arts, sports, coaching) at signup or in Settings so labels match your studio. Old coaching accounts that skip this keep working as coaching.

Will pause hide a student from attendance?

Pause is for fee reminders / overdue display. You still mark class if they show up. Do not treat pause as “deleted.”
